The Best Thing That Ever Happened to Us with Kesha
Friday Jun 11, 2021
Friday Jun 11, 2021
I know I said last week was my last interview, but I've been trying to get this chic on my show for like 6 months. Haha, I'm so glad we got this conversation in before I close out the season. This is just another friendly reminder that you are not alone. You deserve better. You have a deeper calling.
In this episode, Kesha and I discuss what's it's like to overcome toxic/narcissistic abuse relationships with intimate partners. She's super wise, and I am eternally grateful for getting a chance to speak with her. She's going to do some great things in our world.

Living for Abundance with Jesse Harless
Sunday Jun 06, 2021
Sunday Jun 06, 2021
Okay guys, I said I was going crazy this week before I drop my season finale. In this episode, I have one super dope author by the name of Jesse Harless. He just published another book, you need to check it out! It's called, "If Not You, Then Who?" We talk about fear, the importance of human connectivity, centering your heart with your mind, living through recovery, chasing your life purpose, and the evolution of one's true authentic self. Forgive my audio today, I need another new mic. And the neighborhood dogs decided to participate here and there. Gotta keep it exciting! Someone put me in a studio already, so we can make actual magic without interruptions. Remember I'm still a single, "poor" mom who can't afford fancy equipment... YET :)
Listen up and get ready to take notes!

Queen of Giving
Saturday Jun 05, 2021
Saturday Jun 05, 2021
I just keep on learning more about myself every week. I am totally enjoying my self-love journey. I'm probably one of the dopest people ever, I just have the lowest confidence and highest levels of self-doubt. But we keep going anyway right? Of freaking course!
In this episode, I talk about my discovery of being an HSP and how it legit forces me to be a better person. One of my best traits is that I love love loveee to help people, which is why it's really easy for me to give. I'd give up everything I own and live in a tent in someone's backyard if I didn't have a child. I feel like someone would call CPS if I attempted that... Anyways, you should try helping others more. It's one of my favorite mental health boosters.

I Finished Reading the Bible
Saturday May 15, 2021
Saturday May 15, 2021
First, I had to bring this beat back from a previous episode because it's fire! I used it as an outro, so you didn't get to fully hear the magic made on the track. Excuse me for reusing, I just feel it didn't get the full credit it truly deserves. Secondly, as the title states, I finished reading the Bible in just over a year's time. Man, was it hard work. I talk about all the things I learned while reading it, specifically what I learned about myself. I needed to remind myself that I can legit do anything I put my mind to. This was one of things! Enjoy!

Embracing Your Own Story with Mari of Rawthentic Advice
Saturday May 08, 2021
Saturday May 08, 2021
Every single one of us has had a different life. We all have different experiences that have shaped us into the people we are today. In this episode I have Mari, creator of Rawthentic Advice, a platform for survivors of abuse, to discuss her personal journey. She changed something horrific into a learning experience, and in return it has blossomed into creating a network to help other women. Listen up while we talk about how losing her brother to suicide made her realize something was not right in her family dynamic. The only thing she could change is herself. Her story is beautiful and inspiring. I hope you enjoy! Connect with Mari: https://linktr.ee/rawthenticadvice IG: @rawthenticadvice

Parting Ways
Friday Apr 16, 2021
Friday Apr 16, 2021
I was supposed to drop this episode first thing this morning because I recorded late last night, but then I got my COVID shot. My arm is sore AF, so it's been slowing me down a tad. My neighbors are moving, and I wish I could go with them. They've had a huge impact on my life. I really don't want them to go, but that's not how life works. I honor my Meemaw by reading a sermon she gave back in the 1990s. It's almost freaky because the first time I read it, I thought I wrote it. Weird. It's the best way to honor the work she's done, the impact she's had on my life, the impact she's had on many other women, and the impact she will have on my daughter's. Excuse my vulnerability in this episode. I am human, and I do actually have a heart. Co-parenting Revisited: Humiliation, Confrontation, Manipulation, & Control
Friday Apr 09, 2021
Friday Apr 09, 2021
What is it like to be me? Well here's how my day went yesterday. My ex found out about my podcast/Instagram, and now he's hell bent on getting my daughter into day care or to be watched by a third party member (his girlfriend) while making my life hell in the process. YIKES. None of this makes sense to me. If you would like to help me understand, I'd be so grateful! This episode’s attitude is sponsored by my period. Happy Resurrection Day! I wasn't going to post twice in one week, but you know sometimes I'm asked to do things I don't want to do. I watched 10 people get baptized at one singular service today. I sobbed like baby. I can’t explain how beautiful it is to witness that after you’ve gone through that spiritual experience as well. I don’t think I will ever be able to watch a baptism and not cry. I know, I’m so emotional. Bite me. In this episode, I talk about how God is still working in my life, but I know it's because I'm looking for Him. Every single day. If you think that you can't sin and be saved, you're wrong. I'm still broken, and I still will sin unfortunately. I hate it and I try not to, but that’s why we’re human and that’s literally why Jesus died for us. A pastor reminded me earlier this week that all you need to do is confess with your tongue and believe. That's it! So where ever you are in your journey, keep going. I'm rooting for you, and God's got you! It's story time with Sierra while these interviews are in queue. Trust me, this is an episode you don't want to miss. In this episode, I talk about all the times I've had run-ins with the law. Gah, I can't believe I'm sharing this stuff, but I've learned a lot from the experiences. Plus I've been keeping myself out of trouble for quite sometime now. Ah, the days of carelessness and youth! Also just another reminder that nobody is perfect, and I'm definitely not a saint! Enjoy!
